2025 Winter Hitting Tune Up Training - Winter II 2025
Thunder/CBPA Winter Hitting Progressive Program is designed to focus on your player's approach at the plate, swing mechanics and proper warm up and preparation. This season we are updating our training into a 1x per week, 4 week course for more consistant training and reps. Progressive Hitting will take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
This 4 week program begins Tuesday February 4th- February 25th

Winter Catching Tune Up - Winter II 2025
Thunder/CBPA Fall Catching Progressive program with Ted Dutcher focuses on flexibility, blocking, plate coverage and receiving. This weekly training session is an informative and paced instruction for catchers of all ages and abilities.
Progressive Catching sessions are held on Tuesdays beginning February 4th - February 25th

CBPA SpeedBall Ages 6-8u - Spring 2025
What is SpeedBall?
CBPA SpeedBall is the evolution of our machine pitch program. Think of it as a fast-paced, action-packed, "sweet spot," in youth baseball that combines the competition of travel ball with the fun-first community feel of neighborhood baseball.
How does SpeedBall work?
- 3 teams of 4-5 players instead of 2 teams of 12 means double the opportunities
- Teams rotate from hitting, to outfield priority, to infield priority
- "Speed-Up Rules" minimize dead time while maximizing playing time and engagement
Each player will:
- get a full uniform
- play every position
- get 8+ at-bats per game
- never sit the bench
- learn from trained and certified coaches
- get up to 2 training camps to help with long term athletic development and Speedball skills
- experience accelerated skill development
- have an absolute BLAST
Games are on Fridays and Saturdays in Broomfield and Westminster, beginning April 5th and concluding June 15th
Volunteers Needed: Coaches, Announcer/DJ, Scorekeeper. Coaches will get access to the SpeedBall coaches academy training program
